Very Important Mantua, Ohio, 15 diamond over flutes creamer; yellow green; made from the half pint flask mold, 15 diamonds over flutes, plate 97.no.2, yellow green; "American Bottles & flasks and Thier Ancestory" ; the creamer is one of only two known examples, the other example in light green was exhibited in NY,1942, the Buswell collection.
Extremely rare, Kent Ohio Glass Works pattern molded bowl, with 20 swirled ribs, in a beautiful topaz yellow amber color. There is a near identical example in the Metropolitan Museum NYC, however, this example has the better impression and color with more yellow highliights!
New Discovery in American Glass, the only known Stiegel amethyst 20 rib "broken swirl " flask ; there are several known 20 vertical ribbed Stiegel flasks, McKearin mentions how they are in fact much rarer that the so called diamond daisy or the diamond flasks; McKearin also was the only individual to own a 20 rib swirl which is pictured in American Glass, however , there has never been another 20 rib broken swirl reported in any collection, or one that has sold privately or publically at auction : the one and only Stiegel broken swirl !
Extremely rare Zanesville 10 Diamond Pitcher over flutes, c. 1817, with outrageous diamond impression, ex, The Stradlings
Extremely rare color Ohio "Clockface" Pitkin flask, olive yellow , 36 ribs, a gorgeous and rare bottle indeed: mostly found in shades of brown amber, don't miss this ! i

Gadrooned In America
One of the more interesting areas in American Glass studies is the Folk Art aspect of the South Jersey Tradition . Cultivated in the bottle and window glass factories along the eastern seaboard we see many one -off and limited production runs of table and hollowware made , some examples may qualify as true folk art . These works of art made of inferior bottle or window glass must have staggered the imaginations of the most notable Master gaffers working in high quality flint , employed at Boston & Pittsburgh . The Gadrooned pitcher and sugar are for direct sale .
