Auction Rules
1. Since the mail is not always dependable, and in order to give our clients the best service, we strongly recommend that you call your bids in early. We will be happy to assist you with your bidding, answer any questions, or give more exact descriptions of the lots.
2. Each lot in this sale has an estimated price to aid the bidder. If a lot has not been opened, we ask that you start the bidding at 50% of the low estimate.
3. You may call at any time prior to the closing of the sale to check the status of your bid. At that time you will be informed of the highest current bid. You may then, of course, raise your bid if you desire.
4. Your bid, either written or oral, grants Glass International the authority to bid for you, up to the amount of the stated bid.
5. The current bid is determined by taking the second highest bid, then increasing it by one bidding increment. Increments will be as follows: Note- On the internet, the auction software requires a fixed increment which is based on the median between the high and low estimates. Therefore if bidding using the internet auction, the increments will be slightly different than those bidding by phone. If you are not happy bidding these increments – call in your bids to 609-714-2595 and then the increments follow the posted catalog increments.
